Schroter's Valley on the Moon

Schroter's Valley is the greatest lava formation on the Moon. It is 160km long, about 11km wide and 1 km deep. It looks like canyons on Earth. You can observe it even with a small telescope, only 25 km north of Herodotus. It begins with a small crater called "Cobrahead". Note: You need a pair of 3D glasses to see the stereoscopic astrophoto above. Here is a guide, how to make one yourself: http://www.astrodigital.net/imageprocessing/simple_3d/simple_3d.html
